It is no secret that Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen is one of the best in the league at his position. However, Allen might just be scratching the surface as the veteran pass catcher and rookie quarterback Justin Herbert are already clicking in a major way.

With this Chargers tandem wasting absolutely no time on Monday evening against the New Orleans Saints, Herbert almost immediately connected with Allen for Los Angeles' first score of the evening.

Although Allen's reception was impressive — which has become commonplace over the years — it was Herbert that stole the show on this play as his arm strength and elusiveness were on full display. The Saints defense stood no chance at all on this play as New Orleans was unable to contain neither Herbert nor Allen.

Unfortunately for the Chargers, though, place kicker Michael Badgley missed the ensuing extra point attempt as Los Angeles currently leads New Orleans by the score of 6-0 early on.
