As mentioned, cases continue to rise in Florida over the past few weeks. This has created some concern among players around the league. Players such as Avery Bradley of the Los Angeles Lakers, Trevor Ariza of the Portland Trail Blazers, and Thabo Sefolosha of the Houston Rockets opted out of the season due to concerns regarding family.
The NBA has already incorporated measures in place to ensure the safety of the players, coaches, and staff. This includes practicing social distancing and regular testing, among others.
As for the Clippers, no players have so far decided whether they'll skip out on a chance to win the franchise's first ever NBA championship. However, there is a possibility that super-sub Lou Williams may not play as he previously voiced out his concerns on the season's return.
The Clippers are one of the favorites to win this year's NBA title with Kawhi Leonard and Paul George leading the way. They may need to get everybody onboard in order to solidify their chances of doing so.
