The Dota 2 WePlay AniMajor will be the final pit stop for the world's top teams vying for a slot in this year's The International. Since only the top 12 teams of the world's best in Dota 2 will receive a direct invite for TI10, it's very important for the teams competing in the Major to perform well. The Major will distribute a total of 2,700 DPC Points on top of the $500,000 prize pool. The first placers will get 500 DPC Points and $200,000, which may just be enough to secure their TI10 placement. However, with eighteen teams competing and only the top 8 getting DPC Points, the competition is really tight.

Dota 2 AniMajor Teams straight to Playoffs

Just like the previous Major, the Dota 2 AniMajor teams will be three-tiered. Their placement in the tournament depends entirely on their performance during the regional league. The best-performing teams receive seeds at later stages of the competition, ensuring that some teams will finish with a minimum rank.

Here are the Dota 2 AniMajor teams heading directly to the Playoffs. The Playoffs teams secure top 9th-12th place, which doesn't have any prize allocation.

Group Stage Seeds

The Dota 2 AniMajor teams getting Group Stage seeds are just one step ahead of the Wild Card Seeds. However, they'll still have to fight a large number of games, thanks to the round-robin style of this phase. Dota 2 AniMajor Teams via Wild Cards

Finally, the lowest tier consists of the six Wild Card Seeds. Being part of the Wild Cards shouldn't take away any respect for these teams as they are still some of the best teams in the world. They will have the longest journey for this tournament, and a perilous journey it will be. The Dota 2 AniMajor teams going through the Wild Cards are:

These are all the Dota 2 AniMajor teams competing from June 2-13, 2021 at the WePlay Esports Arena in Kiev, Ukraine. Hopefully, all of the teams can make it. In the previous Major, a couple of teams and some players were forced to back out because of health reasons. With this final tournament on the Road to The International 10, the hype and intensity of the Dota 2 AniMajor will be filled to the brim. Those who didn't get their slot in this Major, or those who won't have enough DPC points to secure a TI10 slot still have one last chance. Just like two-time TI champions OG, they'll have to go through the Regional Qualifiers to get to TI.
