The Philadelphia Eagles were coming off an upset win against the New Orleans Saints in Week 14, in which Jalen Hurts stole the show. Hurts recorded a win in his first ever start and looked to inject energy into the Eagles offense. Hurts' performance earned him the start against the Arizona Cardinals where he was phenomenal.

After going down early in the game, Hurts led the Eagles back and tied the game in the fourth quarter. The Eagles fell just short of the comeback, losing 26-33 to the Cardinals. Hurts, however, was a major bright spot in this Eagles offense.

Hurts was 24/44 four 338 passing yards and three passing touchdowns to go along with 11 carries for 63 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground. Hurts was the catalyst of the Eagles offense.

Despite Hurts' impressive performance, Eagles head coach, Doug Pederson, said that he was still unsure about who the Eagles are going to start in Week 16.

This is going to drive Eagles fans crazy, and they have every right to be upset. Hurts did not have a single turnover against the Cardinals and was the only reason why the Eagles were in that game at all.

Carsen Wentz on the other hand, has been the worst quarterback in the NFL when it comes to turning the ball over. Wentz leads the league in interceptions with 15, and is also tied for 7th highest in the NFL with 4 fumbles as well. 19 turnovers total is the highest in the league.

Sitting at 4-9-1, the Eagles playoff hopes are hanging on by a thread. They will need Jalen Hurts in the lineup if they want to keep those playoff hopes alive.

Hurts faces the Dallas Cowboys in Week 16 and the Washington Football Team in Week 17. Philadelphia must win both games and get help if it wants to win the NFC East this season and return to the playoffs.
