The playoffs are upcoming in your fantasy football leagues, and you need to do what you can to shore up the fringes of your roster. Our Week 13 waiver wire pickups will help you find some of those players to help you make a push towards the playoffs.

As always, the following list includes players that are rostered on fewer than 50 percent of all ESPN rosters, making the chances you can pick them up pretty high. You can never have too much talent on your fantasy football roster, which makes your Week 7 waiver wire pickups that more important.

10. Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams – QB

31.1% Rostered

While an upcoming schedule of the Browns and Ravens certainly doesn’t do much to instill confidence, you could do much worse than Matthew Stafford if your team needs quarterback depth.

But adding Stafford is two-fold – when it comes time for your fantasy football playoff slate, Stafford gets to face the Commanders, Saints, and Giants across Weeks 15-17. With options like Trevor Lawrence and others having tough postseason slates, Stafford is a worthy addition to your waiver wire pickups.

9. A.T. Perry, New Orleans Saints – WR

0.6% Rostered

While his production doesn’t justify his inclusion on this list, it’s the target share awaiting him with injuries to both Chris Olave and Rasheed Shaheed. With both of these options leaving Week 12 with injuries, Perry likely will climb up the depth chart, which is already missing Michael Thomas.

The Saints aren’t necessarily a great offense for fantasy football, at least this season, but Perry can help round out your bench with some running back depth.

8. Tucker Kraft, Green Bay Packers – TE

0.9% Rostered

While he did only receive two targets, Tucker Kraft is comfortably the top tight end in Green Bay with fellow rookie Luke Musgrave’s injury. Catching his first career touchdown on Thanksgiving against the Lions could potentially pave the way for a higher target share for Kraft moving forward.

7. Ezekiel Elliott, New England Patriots – RB

36.4% Rostered

11 touches for Ezekiel Elliott in New England’s Week 12 loss feels par for the course for the former Cowboy, so you at least know what you’re likely getting from him. With Rhamondre Stevenson still taking up the majority of the work in the backfield, Elliott has a limited amount of touches each week, but he usually has enough work in the passing game to make an impact.

6. Curtis Samuel, Washington Commanders – WR

35.3% Rostered

A strong 12-target outing was the best of the season so far for Curtis Samuel, who easily filled the role as Sam Howell’s favorite target on Thanksgiving.

And while Samuel’s track record this year doesn’t really make you think that he will be a consistent producer for your fantasy football roster moving forward, the fact that the Commanders likely will need to rely on the passing game to finish out the year, giving Samuel some relevancy.

5. Chuba Hubbard, Carolina Panthers – RB

48.6% Rostered

The running back room for the Carolina Panthers has been pretty gross, as production from both Chuba Hubbard and Miles Sanders has been hard to come by. But with the firing of Frank Reich, Duce Staley, and Josh McCown, there’s potential that Hubbard is able to re-establish himself as the starter.

For our discussion on the best fantasy football breakout and sleeper candidates, listen below:

Tread lightly here, as actively seeking out a piece of the Carolina offense will be tough to predict in the next few weeks. If you are looking for a piece not named Adam Thielen from this unit, the money is on Hubbard.

4. Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers – QB

48.0% Rostered

Five touchdowns and zero turnovers from Jordan Love over the past two weeks have sparked the Green Bay Packers to a two-game winning streak. For Love, his jump into QB relevancy for your fantasy football squad hinges on how well he takes care of the ball, something that he has gotten better doing as the season has progressed.

With the Chiefs, Giants, and Buccaneers next up, look for Love to continue his strong play, making him a viable QB2 option with boom potential.

3. Keaton Mitchell, Baltimore Ravens – RB

RECOMMENDED (Article Continues Below)

33.6% Rostered

Week 12 marked the third double-digit touch week of the season for rookie Keaton Mitchell, who turned his nine carries and two receptions into 89 total yards. Still fighting for work alongside Gus Edwards and Justice Hill, Mitchell is the spark plug this offense needs to utilize more, and they look to be trending in the right direction regarding Mitchell’s workload.

2. Jayden Reed, Green Bay Packers – WR

31.5% Rostered

A TD magnet has helped Jayden Reed become quickly acclimated into the Green Bay offense as a rookie. Having found the end zone six times already this year (five receiving), Reed is a favorite target of Jordan Love, and seems to be in the good grace’s of Matt LaFleur.

A high-floor option with a weekly starting ceiling, Reed is the real deal for the Packers, and you should add him to your waiver wire pickups this week.

1. Pat Freiermuth, Pittsburgh Steelers – TE

41.9% Rostered

In only his second game back after his five-game injury absence, Pat Freiermuth was clearly Kenny Pickett’s favorite target in their win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Having been targeted 11 times, Freiermuth hauled in nine passes for 120 yards, an impressive stat line in the team’s first game without Matt Canada calling the offense.

While this sort of stat line isn’t to be expected on a weekly basis, Freiermuth’s role in the Pittsburgh offense should come with a safe floor, safe enough where you can safely start him on a weekly basis.
