After the Memphis Grizzlies beat the Golden State Warriors in Game 2 to tie the series at 1-1, Ja Morant was seen going at Stephen Curry and telling him “We going to have some fun.” Apparently, it was Morant's payback after Curry said the same thing following Game 1.

Speaking to reporters after the game, the Grizzlies youngster explained the moment and highlighted how much he loves playing against a superstar of Curry's caliber.

“I was able to return that message … saying the same thing,” Morant said, via NBC Sports. “I always say, this is my favorite matchup playing against a guy like him, a great talent. Yeah, it’s going to be a battle.”

Following Game 2, though, there is no doubt that the Warriors-Grizzlies series is going to be really intense and entertaining. Ja Morant dropped 47 points on the Dubs in the contest, and until Steve Kerr and co. find a way to slow him down, every game will truly be a battle to the end.

While both teams need to do a better job drawing the line between being physical and dirty, their match-up surely has all the makings of an instant classic.

For Morant and the Grizzlies, however, they cannot be too complacent and relaxed since they are facing a championship-experienced team that has gone through everything that the postseason has to offer. If anything, the team should put their best foot forward come Games 3 and 4 as the series shifts to Golden State.
