While we know College Football 25 won't include Mashup Mode, the game will still obviously include several mascots from various schools. However, the recent EA Sports College Football 25 Deep Dive revealed that not every Mascot from all FBS schools will be in the game. So, just how many will be coming to the game, and what kind of mascots will we see? Without further ado, let's take a look.

How Many Mascots Will EA College Football 25

According to EA Sports, EA College Football 25 will have 50 total mascots in the game, including 40 Team mascots, and 10 animals representing their schools. For reference, there are currently over 125 FBS mascots in real life. So obviously, not every mascot will make their way into the game. Furthermore, we've already gotten a glimpse of some of those mascots already:

  • The Oregon Duck – Oregon
  • Sparty – Michigan State
  • Stanford Tree – Stanford
  • Ralphie – Colorado
  • Bucky Badger – Wisconsin
  • Brutus Buckeye – Ohio State
  • Mike The Tiger – LSU
  • Hook 'em – Texas
  • Albert Gator – Florida
  • Big Al – Alabama
  • Smokey – Tennessee Volunteers
  • Uga – Georgia

Earlier this year, it was already confirmed that mascot mashup would not make its way into the game. Now, we only that less than half of the actual FBS mascots will be in the game. Furthermore, we've already confirmed roughly 25% of the total mascots in the game. Despite all of this, we're not

Firstly, people have been waiting for years to play the next College Football video game. Fans are probably so excited to just play the game and create their own Dynasty that they may not even notice the amount of detail already in the game. Between multiple traditions, runouts, chants, signals, and more, it does seem the developers are really trying their best to make an in-depth experience.

Additionally, we should also consider the difficulty and time-consumption of creating every single FBS mascot. Considering how much else the developers already worked on, it makes sense that not everything will appear in CFB 25.

However, that also gives us optimism for the future. While College Football 25 won't include coaches, that may change in the future. Therefore, it stands to reason that more mascots might make their way into the game via future titles. However, we don't expect EA to add any mascots via updates. So for the time being, expect just 50 total mascots to be in the game.

Overall, that includes everything we know about College Football 25's Mascots so far. While it's unfortunate that we won't see every FBS mascot in College Football 25, there's still a chance we can see them included in future titles. We're just glad to see College Football make a return on next-gen consoles.
