Not only Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, but also Philadelphia 76ers big man Joel Embiid recently voiced his reaction to Joe Biden winning over former U.S. President Donald Trump in the 2020 U.S. Elections via Twitter.

The entire Sixers team had a big influence on the importance of voting especially in the context of today's society. They had publicly put out their message on the value of voting and the need for everyone to come together to successfully make things happen. It was vocally expressed during their time in the Orlando bubble and the months leading up to the election.

Embiid's statement was in reply to an older tweet that he made after the conclusion of the 2016 U.S. Elections where Donald Trump emerged victorious against Hillary Clinton and was elected as the 45th President of the United States.

Joel Embiid also mentioned “The Process” in his tweet which refers to the Sixers’ famed strategy of tanking on purpose to rack up draft picks that will eventually help turn the franchise's fate around. The process resulted in the team being able to draft Embiid and forward Ben Simmons.

The 20 electoral votes that came from Joe Biden's home state of Pennsylvania, where the Sixers are based, ultimately pushed the Democratic candidate over the 270 electoral votes needed to make him triumphant in the presidential race.

Joe Biden's recent victory was a win for everyone especially for the likes of Cameroon native Joel Embiid who is finally able to move on from a president that has not always been the most welcoming towards immigrants.
