Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid has to be one of the biggest trash talkers in the NBA. The Sixers star is constantly jawing at opponents and attempting to get in their heads. On Tuesday, he targeted the entire Minnesota Timberwolves franchise, throwing a jab their way via Twitter:

The shot came after the Sixers absolutely destroyed the Timberwolves by a score of 149-107. The game was realistically never close, as the Sixers scored 83 points in the first half and never looked back.

Embiid had a monster game, scoring 31 points on only 17 shots. He also had 13 rebounds and four assists as well as one block. Jimmy Butler had 19 points on only 10 shots in his first matchup against the franchise that he recently demanded a trade from.

Joel Embiid's tweet refers to that one fateful Minnesota practice when Butler was still with the team. It was reported that the enigmatic swingman led a team of third-stringers in pulverizing the Timberwolves' starters where he absolutely dominated.

Embiid's tweet has got to offend some Minnesota players. While they did just get annihilated, the team still has some solid players.

It will be intriguing to see how the Timberwolves respond when they get to face the Sixers on their home court in a few short months. They will certainly bring their A game to try to avenge this embarrassment.
