Sacramento Kings small forward Harrison Barnes says he won't cut his hair or shave his beard until the team gets to .500 or the season ends.

The Kings are 21-32 on the season and are far from having a winning record.

Barnes may regret this, or should we say his wife will.

The Kings have a lot of talent, but they haven't gotten on the same page this season in Luke Walton's first year as coach. For his part, Barnes is averaging 14.7 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists while shooting 45.4 percent from the field, 36.4 percent from beyond the arc and 80.0 percent from the free-throw line.

Sacramento has not made the playoffs since 2006. This was supposed to be the campaign when that drought ends, but injuries to key players such as Marvin Bagley III and De'Aaron Fox have hampered the season thus far.

After the All-Star break, the Kings will go on a four-game road trip. During which, they will be playing three playoff contenders in the Western Conference: the second-seeded Los Angeles Clippers, third-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder and eighth-seeded Memphis Grizzlies.

Considering their schedule and performance so far, Harrison Barnes might need to wait until April before he can cut his hair and shave his beard.
