The New York Knicks are reportedly expected to shop point guard Frank Ntilikina this summer, according to Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News.

Ntilikina has been a bust so far with the Knicks in his first two seasons in the NBA.

The Knicks are expected to shop Ntilikina this summer and it’s hardly a ringing endorsement when the owner of the team — James Dolan — let’s out an audible sigh when asked by ESPN Radio why he didn’t fire Phil Jackson before making the draft pick.

Frank Ntilikina only played in 43 games this season due to injuries. The Knicks recently announced he has been shut down for the rest of the season.

Ntilikina averaged 5.7 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game this season while shooting 33.7 percent from the field, 28.7 percent from beyond the arc and 76.7 percent from the free-throw line. The 20-year-old is very limited on offense.

Now that the Knicks have Dennis Smith Jr. on the roster, New York can part ways with Ntilikina.

Don't expect the Knicks to get much in return for Ntilikina, who was the eighth overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft.

He's a solid defender, but that's about all Ntilikina brings to a team right now.
