Los Angeles Lakers superstar power forward Anthony Davis is enthusiastic about a possible small lineup alongside LeBron James and Kyle Kuzma in the frontcourt.

Kuzma is expected to make his season debut on Friday when the Lakers take on the Dallas Mavericks on the road:

The Lakers have opened the season starting LeBron, Danny Green, Avery Bradley, Davis and JaVale McGee. Head coach Frank Vogel has hinted that Rajon Rondo could replace Bradley in the starting lineup once he recovers from his calf injury.

Last season for the Lakers, Kuzma averaged 18.7 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game while shooting 45.6 percent from the floor, 30.3 percent from the 3-point line and 75.2 percent from the charity stripe.

LA is excited to get him back, as Kuzma is a dynamic young scorer.

Davis is averaging 28.8 points, 12.8 rebounds and 3.0 assists on the season. The six-time All-Star is shooting 43.2 percent from the field, 27.3 percent from beyond the arc and 88.9 percent from the free-throw line.

The Lakers are 3-1 on the season. LeBron and Davis already seem to have good chemistry. That spells trouble for the rest of the NBA.

With LeBron and AD leading the charge, the Lakers have a good chance of winning the championship this season. Getting Kuzma to be the third consistent scorer is important for LA.
