Los Angeles Lakers All-Star power forward Anthony Davis is selling his Westlake Village mansion, listed at near $8 million, per Neil J. Leitereg in the Los Angeles Times.

Davis, 27, has had a fantastic first season with the Lakers in 2019-20, and should the NBA's coronavirus-forced hiatus prove dire to any chance at resuming the campaign, the former Kentucky Wildcat could have played his last game for L.A. as he will be a free agent following the season.

While it's expected Davis will re-sign with the purple and gold franchise, this is the NBA, where anything could happen, particularly in free agency given the ever-shifting winds and talk between marquee stars. Davis arrived last summer from his longtime New Orleans Pelicans in a blockbuster, Hollywood deal that saw first-time All-Star forward Brandon Ingram, third-year point guard Lonzo Ball, and sharpshooting swingman Josh Hart dealt to the Pelicans along with four first-round draft picks for the All-NBA-caliber power forward.

Losing Davis after the massive trade last summer just after one season and potentially no playoffs would be a ruinous chapter for the Lakers, but “The Brow” listing his mansion home on the real estate market is no certainty that he's leaving the Lakers in free agency.

Davis led the Lakers in scoring during the 2019-20 season—a first for a LeBron James team—averaging 26.7 points, 9.4 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.5 steals, and 2.4 blocks per game in 55 appearances, shooting 51.1 percent from the field, 33.5 percent from downtown, and 84.5 percent from the free throw line.

The Daily News reports the Westlake Village home is 15,815 square feet featuring five bedrooms, an indoor basketball court, infinity-edge pool, spa, and reaches across more than two acres.
