TNT analyst Charles Barkley asked the Los Angeles Lakers' LeBron James one last time to come and join the set of Inside The NBA. No, actually he begged him to do so during Sunday's broadcast of the NBA playoffs.

The Lakers forward will be missing the postseason for the first time in 14 years, making this the perfect opportunity for the likes of Barkley, Kenny Smith, Shaquille O'Neal, and Ernie Johnson to add an elite-level co-host of the Emmy-nominated show.

“I said this before America, and this is the last time. LeBron James, come into the studio.  You ain't got nothing to do. The playoffs started yesterday and you got free time,” said Barkley. “I know you have to pick a coach and a general manager, just put that on the back burner. I'm begging you on behalf of [the team]. We got that Game of Thrones chair, and how about this? You can leave at halftime of the second game.”

This is likely an opportunity Barkley and company can't pass up, considering James isn't bound to miss very many postseasons in the future, given his track record.

“Chuck is begging you,” said Barkley. “Like I said, you ain't got nothing to do, so you can pick a coach and a general manager later down the line. We can even help you do it… C'mon in LeBron, please.”

The plea is likely to go unheard by LeBron James, but Barkley and company have lost nothing more than a minute-and-a-half of airtime to make the pitch for their next co-host.
