The Los Angeles Lakers faced off against the Boston Celtics again on Tuesday night and one of the underlying narratives during the matchup was the brewing feud between LeBron James and Enes Kanter Freedom. The outspoken Celtics big man had an opportunity to speak to LeBron face to face but as it turns out, Freedom decided not to do so. Again.

Here's a clip of LeBron chirping at the Celtics bench during Tuesday's game. The Lakers star appears to have been in conversation with Boston forward Grant Williams who himself had a bit to say to James. Kanter is seen on the bench sitting right beside Williams but it looked like he wasn't in a very talkative mood:

This clip has unsurprisingly gone viral and it has led to many agreeing with the notion of Kanter being nothing more than a “clout chaser.” This was the second time the Celtics faced off against the Lakers since Kanter publicly decimated LeBron for his alleged ties to China, but on both occasions, it seems like Kanter passed on the opportunity to discuss his issues with James face to face.

Kendrick Perkins, a former teammate of LeBron and currently an analyst for ESPN, could not help but also call out Kanter for his role in all this. According to Perk, the Celtics center's energy “changes” whenever he sees LeBron in person:

Kanter has been very vocal about his criticism about LeBron and he's even gone as far as saying that his supposed affinity with the Chinese communist regime is “disgusting.” This has gotten him all sorts of attention from the media which clearly works in his favor. It's just that Kanter is not one for confrontations, I guess.
