The Los Angeles Lakers could reportedly have trade interest in Toronto Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry this summer, according to Sean Deveney of Sporting News.

If Kawhi Leonard leaves the Raptors this offseason in free agency, the Raptors might look to trade Lowry and enter a full rebuild.

There's also interest in point guard Kyle Lowry, who could be available if the Raptors lose Kawhi Leonard in free agency. Because of Lowry's age (33) and contract ($33 million for next season), the Lakers could bring him in for a relatively limited outgoing package.

Lowry will make $33,296,296 next season, the final year of his contract. The Lakers are trying to surround LeBron James with more talent after missing the playoffs this season.

Lowry averaged 14.2 points, 4.8 rebounds and 8.7 assists per game this season for the Raptors during the regular season. He shot 41.1 percent from the field, 34.7 percent from beyond the arc and 83.0 percent from the free-throw line.

Kyrie Irving and Kemba Walker become unrestricted free agents this summer. The Lakers are expected to pursue both All-Stars, as they have cap space to sign a max contract player. Lonzo Ball has shown signs of being a quality point guard in the NBA, but the Lakers need a dynamic scorer at that position next to LeBron if they want to compete in the rugged Western Conference.
