The Los Angeles Lakers odds have gone up, according to Oddshark, to land LeBron James.  The Lakers are currently a -325 favorite to land The King, while the Cleveland Cavaliers now come in at +325 with the second best odds. Here is the full list of odds:

Lakers -325
Cavaliers +325
Rockets +750
76ers +1000
Celtics +1800
Spurs +2000
Clippers +2500
Knicks +3000
Heat +4000

The Lakers odds going up might be more about what the Cavaliers didn't do rather than what the Lakers did do on draft night.

There was some speculation that the Cavs might trade their first-round draft pick to try and land someone like Kemba Walker, but they decided to keep the pick and draft Collin Sexton. Sexton might be a solid pro, but that type of pick alone isn't going to change James mind if he is already set on leaving.

The Lakers were very active on draft night, and brought in a lot of shooters, something James likes to have around him.

They selected German forward Moe Wagner who can step outside and shoot the ball from deep, and that is what kind of power forward LeBron James is used to playing with. He has played with Kevin Love since coming back to the Cavaliers, and he doesn't spend much time down in the post.

With the 47th pick, they took Svi Mykhailiuk of Kansas who is a sharpshooter from deep and has NBA range. As a senior with the Jayhawks, he shot 44.4 percent from deep, which was up from his career average of just a tick above 40 percent.

On purpose or not, the Lakers appear to be trying to put players on the team that fits James' style of play.
