LeBron James is preparing to enter his third season with the Los Angeles Lakers. Before the upcoming campaign, he's spending some time with his mom, Gloria James. In a post to his Instagram, LeBron dedicated a heartfelt message to his mom.
The post thanks her for her sacrifices to help him get to where he is now:

For those that don't know, LeBron's mom raised him on her own in an impoverished area in Ohio. Despite the financial struggles, James became a basketball prodigy, giving him a path to stardom.
Many people have personal stories of parents supporting them in their endeavors while helping them reach their goals in life. Even though LeBron has become a legend in the NBA, he still realizes that there is nothing that he can do to repay his mom for the sacrifices she made earlier in his life.
LeBron James is just over a month removed from leading the Lakers to their 17th NBA title and his fourth NBA championship. James and the rest of the NBA will have a shortened offseason as the league is set to start the 2020-2021 season on Dec. 22.
