Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James headed to the locker room after an apparent lower-body injury against the Golden State Warriors.

James literally mouthed the words “I felt a pop” as he was taken off the court.

Bill Oram of The Athletic had an update on the Lakers superstar. LeBron James has a strained left groin and is now questionable to return on the Christmas Day matchup against the Warriors.

Fortunately for the Lakers and the four-time Most Valuable Player, the injury isn't as worse as originally deemed.

James has one of the world's most renown training exercises and seems to haven't lost a beat this season.

The Lakers forward has spoken about his desire to play into his forties, just like New England Patriots quarterback and legend Tom Brady. Unless major injuries befall, LeBron should be able to meet his high standards.

In his first season with the Lakers, LeBron James is averaging 27.6 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 7.2 assists per game. The King is shooting 51.8 percent from the field, 36.0 percent from deep, and 68.4 percent from the charity stripe.

If James is dealing with an injury long-term it could really affect the Lakers' success going forward. Without LeBron James, Los Angeles is a .500 team at best.
