Anthony Davis recently ranked teammate LeBron James as just the third-best shooter for the Los Angeles Lakers. AD didn't specify the other two players he ranked above the four-time league MVP, but when LeBron himself caught wind of Davis' assessment, The King made it clear that he doesn't agree with the same.

LeBron did acknowledge that the Lakers have more than a few great shooters in the squad:

“We got a lot of great shooters on the team,” Lakers superstar LeBron James replied to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin (h/t TalkBasket.net). “KCP great shooter. Wes Matthews great shooter. Kuz can shoot the heck out of the ball. Dennis the Menace can shoot the ball as well. AD can shoot the ball. We got a lot of great knock down shooters.”

However, James expressed his belief that he still remains to be the very best:

“If someone said bet, I’m going to take, you guys know, obviously, I’m going to take myself,” Lakers veteran LeBron James said. “That’s just the competitive nature in me and the work ethic that I put into my shot. I feel real good with my shot both from the free-throw line and and also from the three-point line.”

The Lakers megastar is no Stephen Curry, but he definitely makes his shots when it matters most.

The four-time NBA champ's efficiency was on full display on Friday, as he led the Lakers to an easy 112-95 win over the New Orleans Pelicans. LeBron went 6-of-11 from the floor and 7-of-7 from the charity stripe en route to a team-high 22 points in just 31 minutes of action.
