Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is widely considered one of the greatest to ever do it. Some believe Michael Jordan is the GOAT, while others would pick The King. Nevertheless, the 37-year-old believes he doesn't get enough recognition when it comes to the best scorers of all time.

LeBron recently passed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to move into first place with the most regular-season and playoff points in NBA history. Yet, it still pisses him off that most people don't really consider him a scorer, rather than an all-around basketball player who truly does it all.

This is what the Lakers veteran had to say about the matter on Uninterrupted's The Shop:

The crazy thing is, I’m not, like, a natural scorer,” James said. “I love getting my guys involved, I’ve always been that way. I’ve always … the point of seeing my team mate succeed off my pass, I’ve always been that type of guy. And to sit at the top of the food chain in the most points scored in the history of the game is like, it’s weird to me. They don’t ever call me … when they talk about the best scorers of all time, they never mention my name.

When asked by Maverick Carter if that pisses him off, the Lakers superstar said it does.

James certainly has a case. After all, he's literally putting up 28.8 points per night in his 17th season. That's frankly unheard of for any player at his age. But, given his ability to get teammates involved and grab boards, this is exactly why his scoring gets taken for granted.

Don't worry LeBron. Let's just get the Lakers back in the mix.
