LeBron James and Russell Westbrook were both spotted watching the Los Angeles Lakers in the Las Vegas Summer League. Why it looked normal, however, some fans couldn't help notice how they were sitting far apart.
As everyone knows by now, the Lakers have been linked with a potential trade for Kyrie Irving. In those talks, a Russell Westbrook swap is viewed as the only way the deal could happen. It is also worth noting that LeBron has been widely reported to be adamant in reuniting with Kyrie, with recent rumors even claiming he's pressuring the Purple and Gold to make the trade happen.
Put simply, if Kyrie comes, Russ is as good as gone. Sure enough, the fact that the two stars were not sitting together only fueled those speculations, with several viewers even poking fun at the sight of the two.

Nothing is set in stone yet and Russell Westbrook could very well return to the Lakers next season. Besides, there isn't much traction on the Kyrie Irving trade front anyway as the Nets focus on searching for a trade for Kevin Durant.
If Russ ends up returning in LA, though, it will be interesting to see how his partnership with LeBron James pans out. The Lakers are coming off a horrific season where they missed the playoffs, so it's definitely not a good thing there were other issues about their relationship.
But hey, it could very well be people just making something out of nothing.
