LeBron James has been keeping busy in the offseason. He's already putting in the work ahead of the 2022-23 campaign, and just recently, he was spotted working out with former Los Angeles Lakers teammate JR Smith. Naturally, this has led to some whispers of Smith potentially making an NBA comeback next season.

Renowned NBA skills trainer Chris Brickley posted a handful of photos on his Instagram page featuring LeBron getting some work in on the basketball court. James looked really good in the pictures and it appears that the four-time NBA champ is already in great shape ahead of Season 20 for him.

JR Smith was also photographed in a couple of the shots, although the 36-year-old wasn't exactly in proper game attire. Also, Smith has been quite busy in college these days. Not only is he the star of the North Carolina A&T golf team, but he also happens to be making waves as an honor student.

Smith was part of the Lakers' 2020 title run in the bubble, and he and LeBron go way back. There hasn't been much talk of Smith returning to the NBA, but at this point, who knows, right?
