Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball received some serious praise on Wednesday.

Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James said he likes how Ball has been poised throughout the season, and sees parallels between the attention Ball's gotten this season and the attention he's had his whole career.

When Ball was informed of these words from James, he couldn't help but be humbled by it, per Mike Trudell of Lakers.com.

Praise from any great player to a young player is always good, especially because the best players in the league usually don't throw it around lightly. But when that praise comes from James, that's a moment when a young player should probably be beaming.

Ball is humble by nature, so it's not surprising that he didn't even know James said anything about him. His measured response is on par with how Ball responds to most situations in which he has to talk about himself.

Ball admiring James makes sense, as he is pass-first point guard and James really does thrive more when he sets up his teammates versus when he's asked to score 35 points a night. It would be smart for Ball to find a way to get James in his corner so he could learn from one of the best NBA players of all time.
