The Los Angeles Lakers' over/under win total for the 2019-20 season is set at 54 1/2, per BetOnline.ag.

The Lakers traded for superstar big man Anthony Davis from the New Orleans Pelicans this past weekend. Los Angeles now has LeBron James and Davis on the roster, two of the best players in all of basketball.

Depending on when the trade officially gets completed, the Lakers may or may not have cap space to sign a free agent to a full max contract this summer. The Purple and Gold have been linked with Kemba Walker, Kyrie Irving and Jimmy Butler in their quest to create a Big 3 in Los Angeles.

Irving is likely headed to the Brooklyn Nets. The Charlotte Hornets can offer Walker the supermax contract this offseason, one which would pay the All-Star guard over $221 million. Walker no doubt wants to join a contender, but it's really hard to pass up that much money.

Butler would be a tremendous addition for the Lakers. He's an elite two-way player who would be a great third option for LA. The Philadelphia 76ers have to address Butler and Tobias Harris' free agencies this offseason and may not have enough money to keep both.

The Lakers missed the playoffs in the 2018-19 campaign, the first season of the James era. Things, though, seem to be trending in the right direction after the Davis trade.
