Chargers Week 13 Predictions

4. LA's defense shuts down Joe Mixon

Cincinnati has been dominant through the air but a lot of credit can go towards Joe Mixon. The Bengals running back has been a consistent contributor this year and doesn't look like he's going to slow down anytime soon. LA has to find a way to slow him down, otherwise, the Chargers could find themselves in a bad spot late in the game.

Taking away the Bengals' rushing attack will be no easy task. Mixon has been a monster this year, so the Chargers must do everything they can to slow him down. If they can manage that, Los Angeles will be able to control the clock and keep the ball away from Cincinnati.

3. Keenan Allen goes bonkers for 100+ yards and 2 touchdowns

The Chargers need Keenan Allen to be at the top of his game against the Bengals. Cincinnati's defense has played much better than anticipated, which could prove to be a problem for LA. Regardless, Allen's presence on the field is needed and he has a chance to shock Cincinnati on Sunday.

Austin Ekeler has been a machine this year. He's been dominant in the ground game and has maintained consistency as a solid pass option. Look for the Chargers to utilize Ekeler in multiple ways as they attempt to earn a much-needed victory.

1. Justin Herbert leads the Chargers to a big win over the Bengals

It's incredible how good Justin Herbert has been throughout his young career. He's only in his second season, but he's already one of the best quarterbacks in the league. The Chargers will need Herbert to be at his best if they hope to defeat the Bengals.

This game has the makings to be a complete shootout. It could be a high-scoring affair, which will make for an exciting contest. The Chargers are hoping to defeat the Bengals on Sunday, but it could come down to the wire. Look for Herbert to possibly lead LA to a game-winning drive in the closing minutes of this matchup.
