The MLB trade deadline is here in full force! A half dozen trades have gone down or the past few days and now there has been another. This time the Arizona Diamondbacks are trading Eduardo Escobar to the Milwaukee Brewers, according to Jeff Passan of ESPN.

The player headed back to the Diamondbacks is minor leaguer Cooper Hummel, as Passan reports, and this MLB trade deadline continues to move quickly.

Escobar was one of a handful of Arizona players to be mentioned in potential MLB trade deadline deals, especially considering their standings in the National League West. They sit 33 games back of the top spot and have the worst record in the MLB this season, so selling makes a ton of sense.

The Diamondbacks infielder has smashed 22 home runs on the year with 65 RBIs and has been one of the lone bright spots on a mediocre team. Now the Brewers will add another high-profile bat to a lineup that includes Christian Yelich and Willy Adames.

The Brewers sit atop the NL Central and are doing anything in their power to be considered as legitimate World Series contenders with the defending MLB champion Los Angeles Dodgers still pegged as the favorites in the National League.

Stay tuned, there's still time, and we are nowhere near done with all of the MLB trades just yet.
