On Sunday night, Warner Bros. Studios held a media event and one of the announcements they made was their plans for the 20th anniversary of one of the most successful sports movies of all-time, Space Jam.

The movie was originally released on November 15, 1996 and had a star-studded cast headlined by Michael Jordan together with Looney Tunes characters like Bugs Bunny and Marvin the Martian, among others. With only a month to go before they celebrate its 20th year, Jordan Brand showed an 19-second teaser and gave the fans a hint of who will make a comeback.

Jordan Brand's vice president and general manager of categories, Whitney Chapman, described the campaign in greater detail:

“We’re really excited to actually tell this story about how the Monstars are coming back, and they’re coming back with a vengeance. They’re really pissed that they lost the game, and they’re here to wreak havoc on the game of basketball. Lots of propaganda going on and trying to have everyone to comply with this idea of their soulless game. This marketing campaign that’ll go global, the story’s really going to unfold around that, and then you’ll have to wait to see what happens on how this new basketballer that’s here today actually rises up to defy the odds of getting after the Monstars.”

The shoe and apparel brand also tweeted some images of the new and improved Monstars:
