The New York Knicks and Golden State Warriors have even odds to sign star small forward Kevin Durant this summer in free agency, per BetOnline.ag.

The online betting site has the Knicks and Warriors at +150 to have Durant on their roster next season. The Clippers are at +300, the Brooklyn Nets at +700, the Los Angeles Lakers at +1600 and the Oklahoma City Thunder at +10000.

Durant becomes an unrestricted free agent this summer once he declines his 2019-20 player option with the Warriors. KD is expected to miss the entire 2019-20 season after rupturing his right Achilles tendon in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.

Despite suffering the devastating Achilles injury, Durant will still command a max contract this summer. ESPN's Brian Windhorst reported the Warriors are prepared to offer Durant and shooting guard Klay Thompson the full five-year max deals this offseason.

Thompson tore his left ACL in Game 6 of the Finals.

The Knicks have cap space to sign two max contract players this offseason. All season long, everyone thought Durant and Kyrie Irving were locks to sign with the Knicks. However, it appears Irving is leaning toward joining the Brooklyn Nets, the team he grew up rooting for as a kid. KD could still join Irving in Brooklyn since they have cap space for two max players as well.
