LeBron James signing with the Los Angeles Lakers just made an already strong Western Conference that much more stacked.

According to NBA Rank (via ESPN's Micah Adams), 13 of the best 14 players in the NBA actually reside in the West — the only exception? — Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Washington Wizards point guard John Wall rounds out the top 15, doing little to better the stark contrast of talent between the two conferences.

James' signing will mean an impending collision of giants in the West, the likes of Russell Westbrook, Kevin Durant, and reigning MVP James Harden are hungrily waiting to get their shot at The King in his new uniform, while Antetokounmpo is now set up to take the throne as the best player in the Eastern Conference.

To emphasize this point even further — a Western Conference team has won the NBA title seven out of the last 1o years.

The other three? — they were led by LeBron James (Miami Heat 2012, 2013; Cleveland Cavaliers 2016).

The disparity is enormous, especially considering that James has had an easy enough road to plow his way through the East eight straight times.

Out of active multiple First-Team All-NBA selections, nine of them are in the Western Conference while only two reside in the East, making the Wild, Wild West truly a reign of terror.
