Dennis Rodman issued a unique challenge to former New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, noting that he would like to face off against the NFL great in a wrestling match.

That's right … Rodman wants to wrestle Gronk.

Rodman made his challenge to Gronkowski in the new WWE documentary “WWE Untold: Rodzilla Runs Wild.”

“Somebody asked me ‘Dennis, you want to wrestle again?’ I could tell you a guy I’d really want to wrestle, that’s Markowski,” Dennis Rodman said, via NBC Sports.

Clearly, Rodman mispronounced Gronkowski's name, but he later clarified:

“I mean, Rob, that guy from New England,” Rodman continued. “He talk a lot of [expletive]. I’m 50 years old, and you like 32, 33 years old. It don’t matter to me, let’s go out and do this [expletive].”

Dennis Rodman, now 58 years of age, is no stranger to televised wrestling matches. “The Worm,” as he is known, has experience with WCW (World Champion Wrestling). Fans might remember his famous tag team bout at Bash at the Beach 1998, where he sided with Hulk Hogan in a matchup against Jazz legend Karl “The Mailman” Malone and Diamond Dallas Page:

Like Rodman, Gronkowski has been featured in some epic wrestling matchups. In fact, Gronk is currently signed with WWE and scheduled to serve as a host at WrestleMania 36 in April, though it's not clear at this point if the event will go on due to the coronavirus pandemic. Even if it doesn't, Gronk has already made a name for himself:

So … who should be favored in a Rodman-Gronkowski wrestling match? Would Rodman's grit be enough to contend with Gronk's raw strength? At 30, Gronk has the age advantage, but we're certainly not counting Dennis Rodman out.
