With the rumors continuing around the Miami Heat and Giannis Antetokounmpo, it seems that the basketball world is close to hearing a resolution on the matter. As the Heat are labeled as a finalist for Antetokounmpo, the Boston Celtics are perceived as having a real shot for the superstar, though Chad Johnson believes that's all noise.

Speaking on his and Shannon Sharpe's show “Nightcap,” Johnson has said many times that his sources tell him that Antetokounmpo is going to Miami. With the elevated speculation of Boston, Johnson doubles down on the matter.

“As y’all know, I’ve said it multiple times over the months. The sources that I do have, they know what they’re talking about,” Johnson said. “Which is why I’ve came on here and say things that I’ve said. All the other stuff, with Boston, and him going anywhere, none of that is going to happen. That’s just created dialogue to keep people guessing on where he might go.”

It's down to the Heat and Celtics for Giannis Antetokounmpo

Looking at the latest in the Antetokounmpo saga is NBA insider Shams Charania, saying on ESPN's “Get Up” on Monday morning that a resolution and a trade will be coming before the start of Tuesday night's NBA Draft. There are two finalists, which are the Eastern Conference rivals in the Heat and Celtics, as Charania explains how they are two “vastly different” deals.

“With the Boston deal, you have Jaylen Brown, a superstar-led package. There are additional pieces,” Charania said.

“In Miami, there are more players involved, more cost-controlled rookie scale contracts. There’s more draft capital involved there. These conversations have been a blood bath,” Charania continued.

Whichever deal happens, Charania claimed that it will be a “one-for-one” trade, meaning there won't be more teams involved to start.

“I want to make this clear: whichever deal occurs…It’s going to consist of MIL and one of these two teams. There’s no 3rd and 4th teams… Giannis, from my understanding, is ready to be traded,” Charania said.

All Miami fans will be anxious leading up to Tuesday night.
