The Boston Celtics orchestrated arguably the most complete performance of their season on Sunday, as they clinched a spot in the Eastern Conference finals following the Game 7 win against the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Celtics simply had their way over the course of the winner-take-all Eastern Conference semifinal clash with the reigning NBA champions. From the 22 made 3-point shots to also holding the Bucks offense to a mere 81 points scored, Ime Udoka’s squad responded to the calling in the biggest game of its season.

Udoka and multiple Celtics players had called on fans to rise to the occasion for the team in Game 7. For the first-year Celtics head coach, as he noted in his post-game press conference, he was quite pleased with the electric atmosphere on the day at the TD Garden.

“Everyone talks about how loud it's been in here, but I've never heard it until tonight,” Udoka said. “You kind of zone out and I guess you take the time to appreciate it when it's a 20-something point game with two minutes to go and you're hearing the crowd and looking around and see everyone standing. That was the first time I really felt it in this series.”

The Celtics faithful in attendance sure upped the atmosphere over the game, from cheering on Grant Williams for his stout defense on Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo to rising to their feet for each of Payton Pritchard’s beyond the arc makes.

After having home-court advantage in the series wins over both the Bucks and the Brooklyn Nets, the Celtics will now open up on the road for the first two games of their upcoming Eastern Conference finals matchup against the Miami Heat. Jayson Tatum and company sure will look to avenge their playoff elimination to the Heat from two years ago.
