Over the weekend, Dallas Mavericks center DeAndre Jordan essentially stole a rebound from rookie teammate Luka Doncic, which caused quite the stir.
After a New Yorks Knicks player missed a shot, Doncic was in position to secure the defensive rebound. Jordan then came out of nowhere and used his long arms to tip the ball away from Doncic and grabbed the rebound.

Needless to say, Mavs head coach Rick Carlisle wasn't pleased by DeAndre Jordan's actions, as he told local reporters Monday that the situation has been addressed internally.
Coach Rick Carlisle said the rebound DeAndre Jordan poached from Luka Doncic was a little over the top, so to speak, and has been addressed.

No one likes a stat padder. Stealing a rebound from a teammate is not a good look. If you watched the game, you saw that Luka Doncic and Mavs owner Mark Cuban both had negative body language after DeAndre Jordan stole the rebound.
Article Continues BelowMaybe Jordan thought what he did was funny, but from the looks of it, no one in the Mavs organization is laughing.
Dallas is just 2-7 on the season. In his first year with the Mavs, DeAndre Jordan is averaging 12.7 points and 14.3 rebounds while shooting 65.2 percent from the field and 82.4 percent from the free-throw line. The high-flyer has seven double-doubles.
Luka Doncic, meanwhile, has started his NBA career off well. The No. 3 overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft is posting 19.4 points, 6.6 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game and shooting 46.7 percent overall, 39.3 percent from beyond the arc and 69.4 percent from the charity stripe.
Doncic is dealing with a bit of an ankle problem, but it doesn't seem too serious.
