After the San Francisco Giants' Pride Night celebrations, former player Aubrey Huff took aim at the president of baseball operations, Buster Posey, in a homophobic social media rant.
Warning: the contents of his message are extremely vulgar.
Huff unloaded the rant on social media on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. He made his “respect” for his former teammate Posey, but he was upset by the Pride Night celebrations, claiming it “makes me puke watching him have to be force fed this gay monthly agenda that has somehow weaseled its way into every aspect of society.” He also claimed that “we are called bigots or homophobes if we don't cater & morally accept their own sick sexual behavior.”
Watching the Giants embrace events like Pride Night led Huff to call the organization “pathetic.” He then took aim at the players, blaming them for it.
“I blame every single player on that team that hasn’t taken up for their teammates publicly for having the stones to wear bible verses on their hats. Nor having Buster's back,” he said. “Having said that, Buster's silence on this issue has allowed a .234 hitter like Drew Gilbert with 3 homers to celebrate rare wins by blowing imaginary loads on his willing & eager teammates who seem to relish the thought of his load painting their faces.”
He also took shots at Rafael Devers, claiming he has “zero balls” and calling him “too soft.” In turn, there's “zero leadership” in the clubhouse, which has been “overrun by a bunch of spoiled[,] talentless p*****s who posses zero pride, nor respect for the game, the organization, the fans, & even teammates.”
The Giants are currently 33-46 and in fourth place in the NL West. In Huff's mind, their luck won't turn around without gaining “killer instincts.” He compared the team to “talentless[,] attention-seeking IG chicks.”
“They don’t know the first thing about how to win. They lack killer instincts,” Huff claimed. “But they sure do know how to hit like s**t while drawing attention to themselves. Kinda like a talentless[,] attention-seeking IG chick whose entire account is nothing but insecure & desperate thirst traps for attention.”
