The Los Angeles Lakers will be facing the Atlanta Hawks tomorrow night, and their superstar, LeBron James, might not play.

LeBron James played the last three games for the Lakers after returning from injury. In those matches, the Purple and Gold lost to the Indiana Pacers 136-94 and to the Philadelphia 76ers 143-120. Sandwiched between those defeats, however, is a 129-128 victory over the Boston Celtics 129-128 on Friday.
The Western Conference All-Stars captain just recovered from a groin injury he suffered last Christmas when the Lakers faced the Golden State Warriors, and if he will miss the game against Atlanta, it's likely due to precautionary measures.
Article Continues BelowThe Lakers are currently the 10th team in the West with a 28-28 record, three games behind the eighth-seeded LA Clippers. They are trying to push their way back into the playoff picture, but the team has struggled to win without James.
LeBron missed the entire month of January due to his groin injury, and the Lakers suffered losses against two of the worst teams in the Eastern Conference — the New York Knicks and Cleveland Cavaliers.
The Hawks are the 12th team in the East and are on a three-game losing streak. However, the Lakers barely escaped them when they first met last November 11, a game where LeBron played.
It is possible that James will still play in tomorrow's game, but if he chooses to sit out, the Lakers will have to rely on the tandem of Brandon Ingram and Kyle Kuzma once again.
