Former Gonzaga Bulldog Adam Morrison understandably went bonkers on Saturday upon witnessing Jalen Suggs bail out his alma matter with a game-winning half-court heave against the UCLA Bruins in the NCAA Tournament Final Four.

The retired NBA player, who now moonlights as a commentator for Gonzaga Radio, had an epic reaction after seeing one of the biggest shots in college basketball history. Suggs' historic shot helped Gonzaga keep its pristine 31-0 record as they look to make history against the Baylor Bears in the finale.

Broadcast people, of course, are expected to remain neutral when calling games, regardless of their favored teams. But Morrisson, who holds the Zags dear to his heart, couldn't contain his excitement. Frankly, he didn't care.

Adam Morrison, after all, is quite familiar with Gonzaga's rivalry with the Bruins. The 36-year-old shooter had his own battles against UCLA back in the 2006 NCAA Tournament Sweet 16. The Zags looked like they were on the verge of eliminating the heavily-favored Aaron Aflalo-led Bruins, up until they stormed back from a 17-point deficit.

Gonzaga eventually lost the match despite Morrison's fine outing, as he infamously broke down in tears and collapsed to the court after the match. Fifteen years later, Gonzaga finally got their revenge against the Bruins.

It was poetic justice in every sense for Morrison, as that win definitely brought back bittersweet memories for him.

While his pro career did not exactly pan out, Morrison is still considered as one of the greatest college basketball players in history and perhaps the best one to don the Gonzaga uniform.
