Netflix recently announced that it's launching an entertainment venue with “immersive experiences” called the Netflix House.

Netflix House is billed as “an experiential venue” that will allow fans to walk around a Bridgerton replica set while listening to an orchestral version of Ariana Grande's thank u next. Or you can pretend to compete in the Squid Game and win the Glass Bridge challenge. Or if you want to take it easy and just buy some merch, something from Stranger Things perhaps, there's a shop for that as well.

Building off previous live experiences from Bridgerton, Money Heist, Stranger Things and Squid Games, Netflix House will have all of these in one venue all year round. The first of these locations will be at the King of Prussia Mall in Pennsylvania and the Galleria Dallas in 2025.

Welcome to the Netflix House

Netflix Chief Marketing Officer Marian Lee said, “At Netflix House, you can enjoy regularly updated immersive experiences, indulge in retail therapy, and get a taste — literally — of your favorite Netflix series and films through unique food and drink offerings.”

“We've launched more than 50 experiences in 25 cities, and Netflix House represents the next generation of our distinctive offerings. The venues will bring our beloved stories to life in new, ever-changing, and unexpected ways,” she added.

Netflix chose these two particular locations since they are the two most popular shopping centers in the US. Both have hundreds of retailers, plenty of people visiting and shopping and close to major cities. The Netflix Houses in Dallas and King of Prussia will be housed in what used to be department stores and have over 100,000 square feet each. Outside these locations will have sculptures and murals featuring characters from popular Netflix titles.

The streaming platform has launched several live experiences such as the Viva Las Vengeance: Army of the Dead interactive VR experience in Las Vegas in 2021. In 2022, Netflix launched The Queen's Ball: A Bridgerton Experience, which was in eight US cities, Toronto and will soon open in Melbourne. The next year, the Squid Game The Trials Experience was launched in Los Angeles.
