Andre Drummond undoubtedly recorded the best play of Saturday night when he flashed a peace sign after a steal and before his coast-to-coast dunk. However, Brooklyn Nets coach Steve Nash is not buying the talks about his big man getting more ball-handling duties because of the play.

It is just one play after all. While what Drummond did was impressive, it is definitely head-scratching to hear someone ask whether a big man who often stays in the painted area should get more ball-handling duties because he can do a peace sign in a breakaway slam. Nash had the same thoughts and dropped a rather savage response to the reporter who brought up the idea.

“I’m going to pretend you never said that,” Nash responded, per Dave Early of ClutchPoints.

We can't blame Steve Nash for that response for sure, and luckily for the reporter, the Nets coach didn't make a big deal out of it and decided to move on.

Besides, Nash and the Nets have a reason to celebrate and be happy about after taking down the Miami Heat. Not only did they send a message to the rest of the NBA that they are legitimate contenders, but they also improved their chances of making the play-in tournament–even keeping their hopes of automatically qualifying for the playoffs alive.

Not to mention that Andre Drummond played well against the Heat with his 13-point, 11-rebound double-double. At this point when the Nets need every production they can get, Drummond's numbers are a welcome boost.

Surely, Nash won't have any problems with him doing throwing the deuce here and there. As long as he won't be dreaming of being their main ballhandler, then everything is good for Coach Nash and the Nets.
