The NBA world got its everyday fill of drama this past Saturday morning, when Damian Lillard and Jusuf Nurkic engaged in a little tampering session. The Blazers duo both posted an image of Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant in a Portland jersey. The intent is clear: Dame wants KD to go to his city.

This Instagram fiasco (as well as the issues surrounding the OTHER Nets star) have many fans speculating a potential Damian Lillard-Kevin Durant team-up. However, at least one person close to KD feels that isn't happening: his own brother.

Tony Durant chimed in on an Instagram post and simply said no to the idea of his brother Kevin joining the Blazers.

The recent drama between the Nets organization and Kyrie Irving has many fans thinking about Durant's future. With Kyrie's status hanging in the balance, will KD stick around with this team? Or will Brooklyn be more willing to trade KD and build around Kyrie? It's a complicated situation, and it will surely be the biggest storyline of the 2022 NBA offseason.

Kevin Durant came back two seasons ago from a catastrophic Achilles tear that nearly derailed his career. Thankfully, the Nets star came back with a different approach to the game, while still being incredibly effective on offense. Despite that, though, his team has failed to make it past the second round since he joined them.

Is Kevin Durant going to write a new chapter in his career (perhaps with Damian Lillard in Portland)? Or will the Nets continue to try and make the Kyrie-KD pairing work for one more season?
