Brooklyn Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie really came into his own last season as the replacement starter for the injured D'Angelo Russell. Dinwiddie became a reliable clutch option and prolific long-range shooter, especially from really deep.

Dinwiddie led the NBA last season in field goals made from 30-plus feet, and a fan created a video with all 11 makes:

Dinwiddie was very appreciative of the effort, and he himself was even amazed at some of the makes:

Dinwiddie then responded to several other fans talking about his jump-shooting prowess:

While Dinwiddie hit a bevy of impressive shots last season, he'll probably have to improve upon his 32.6 percent mark on 3-pointers to get that bump he's looking for in NBA 2K. He's only at 31.5 percent from deep for his career, though he did knock down 37.6 percent of his triples with the Nets in 2016-17.

Still, although Dinwiddie's shooting percentages aren't too hot, the Nets love his fearlessness and willingness to take big shots. He's also a stellar playmaker, as evidenced by his career-high 6.6 assists per game last season to go along with his career-best 12.6 points per contest.

With Russell returning from injury, Dinwiddie won't have quite as big a load to carry. But the 25-year-old is still going to play an important role as Brooklyn tries to make its way back into the playoff picture in a weak Eastern Conference. The Nets recently guaranteed Dinwiddie's $1.656 million contract for 2018-19.
