Hines Ward may be a Steelers All-Timer, but he's not with the nonsense going on with the current iteration of the team, and has made it be known.

Barstool Sports spoke with the legendary football player, and he made it clear that he wasn't thrilled.

“You what man – it is embarrassing, to be honest with you. That’s just not the culture, the Steelers culture. You know, I look at what happened with Malcolm Butler, being late for a meeting and missing the Super Bowl… that’s the culture and that’s the Patriot(s) Way: no one guy is bigger than the team. It's not often that you hear a Steeler sing the praises of the Patriots, but here we are, and here's Hines Ward. Lord!

Ward went on to say that many of the Steelers are only on the team because they want fame, catches, and money. (He may have been shading the likes of Antonio Brown and Ben Roethlisberger, which he would be well within his right to do.) But this philosophy, he says, is a “disaster” and leads to teams missing playoffs.

That said, even though Hines Ward was a bit harsh in his assessment, he's not exactly wrong. If Antonio Brown and Ben Roethlisberger would have gotten it together, they would have been facing off against the Patriots in the Super Bowl. So, maybe this will be the tipping point for the Steelers to finally get it together.
