The Antonio Brown saga has dragged on for weeks — and, now, months — and it's completely taken away from the Pittsburgh Steelers' time on the field this past season.
Now, as it turns out, a new report from TMZ suggests that Brown's drama extends to his time off the field, as well.
The outlet has confirmed with the Hollywood, Florida police that Brown is currently being investigated after a domestic complaint was filed with the office. Brown, who wasn't arrested at the time the complaint was filed, was allegedly involved in “domestic misconduct.”
And while the Hollywood, Florida police department has confirmed that they're investigating the matter and no arrests have been made, no further details about the alleged “domestic misconduct” have been released.
Article Continues BelowThis is just the latest in the string of dramas surrounding the wide receiver, who is also being sued for his alleged involvement in a furniture-throwing incident back in April of last year.
According to that complaint, Brown threw a bunch of furniture from a balcony in his South Florida apartment. The man alleges that, when Brown did this, he hit and nearly killed his 22-month-old son, who was playing on the balcony below.
Brown categorically denied those charges and simply said he was “innocent” when confronted about them by TMZ Sports.
Some sports commentators believe that this latest bit of drama could spell doom for Brown's future with the San Francisco 49ers, even as the rumors continue to swirl about his potential trade out west.
