Despite taking an “L” in the Skills Challenge on All-Star Saturday, Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic still appeared to be in a jovial mood following his rather impressive showing.

According to the 23-year-old, the most difficult part of the entire challenge was when he had to run from one end of the court to the other … on multiple occasions:

Jokic is definitely not one of the fastest players in the league today, but skills-wise, he has to be in the upper echelon. This was on full display in the Skills Challenge, as he took care of business in the first round, taking down Orlando Magic big man Nikola Vucevic:

Jokic actually had a shot of making it all the way to the final round, had he not missed his first 3-point attempt against Boston Celtics stud Jayson Tatum in the second round. The sophomore forward made him pay, with Tatum eliminating Jokic by draining his one and only attempt from deep:

Tatum would eventually bag this year's Skills Challenge trophy in style, defeating Atlanta Hawks rookie sensation Trae Young via an amazing half-court shot.

Jokic is set to make another appearance before the weekend of festivities comes to a close, as he tries to help Team Giannis defeat an equally star-studded Team LeBron in this year's edition of the All-Star Game.

Now in his fourth season in the league, this marks Jokic's first call-up to the All-Star squad. Very few, if any, can argue against him deserving a spot on the team, with the 23-year-old currently putting up 20.4 points (on 50.5 percent shooting), 10.6 rebounds, 7.7 assists, 1.4 steals, and 0.6 blocks per game.
