For the first time in his career, All-Star forward Paul George will be donning another uniform other than the Indiana Pacers.

It's also something that longtime teammate Lance Stephenson is looking forward to when the Pacers take on the Oklahoma City Thunder this upcoming season, according to Bleacher Report's Brian Josephs.

“Paul, like I said, that’s my brother, but when it comes to the court, I ain’t got no friends. After the game, we could go out to eat.”

Lance Stephenson will get his first shot against his close friend on Oct. 25 at the Chesapeake Energy Arena then Paul George will step back on the court at Bankers Life Fieldhouse Arena in Indiana on Dec. 13.

There is likely to be an abundance of strong energy during the game that will be directed at George given the manner in how things unfolded with the organization this offseason. This should fuel a strong push by Stephenson and the Pacers to top the Thunder.

That said, there is still a strong bond between George and Stephenson that goes well beyond the court. When they are between the lines, it is pure competition with eyes toward bettering the other on that particular night. This should set the table for an entertaining pair of games this upcoming season with plenty of personal emotion being attached to them.
