Indiana Pacers guard Victor Oladipo’s breakout season that led to an All-Star berth has finally put him on the map of basketball elites in the NBA.

As the undisputed leader and face of the Indiana Pacers, the numbers he produced last season were on another level. He averaged 23.1 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 2.4 steals while shooting 37 percent from the three-point line.

With his skills and recent stardom, Oladipo has seen himself catapult not only above the basketball ranks but into the Hollywood scene as well.

Oladipo recently posted a picture of Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman and himself on Instagram, sharing some laughs at the Garcia vs Porter fight at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Marvel’s Black Panther is a movie based on a hero from a fictional African nation. With its cult comic book following and box office success, everybody wants to be part of the ensemble for its future installments. As seen on his post, Oladipo jokingly expressed his sentiments, wanting to be in the movie.

The NBA isn’t just a league of athletes anymore. As theatrics and entertainment assimilate itself into the league, the boundaries for the NBA will no longer be limited to just basketball.

On the basketball side of things for Oladipo, he'll be entering the new season in a different manner than the previous campaign. Last year, no one expected the Pacers and Oladipo to put out a strong showing. This time around, they'll have targets on their backs.
