Pewdiepie has been a popular figure in the gaming world. He's well-known for playing on his Youtube account live, sharing his reactions to the games he plays to all his fans who are watching. In a recent video, Pewdiepie shared the games that he played growing up that he feels defined him. He won't be the man and Youtube streamer that he is now without these games. One of the games he did mention was Dota. He would say about his experience playing the game with his friends:
“Me and my friends in Sweden, we used to go to net cafes… We would play this all together like a party of four or five,” remembers Pewdiepie. “Just yelling at each other all in the same room playing games together on a computer, that won’t be possible without net cafes… I just remember that to be so much fun. On like, a Saturday, we’d call up our friends and we would all go out to town to a net cafe to play Dota together. Just amazing memories.”
He also shared who his favorite hero was, and declared that he's not likely to play any more MOBA games. While this means that we won't likely see Pewdiepie play Dota 2 anytime soon, at least we now know the answer to the question, does Pewdiepie play Dota 2? And the answer is yes, he used to, but not anymore.
