Detroit Pistons executive Ed Stefanski says power forward Blake Griffin should be totally healthy by June.

Griffin underwent a successful arthroscopic debridement of his left knee and will miss the rest of the season:

Griffin was a shell of himself in the 18 games he played in this season. The former Los Angeles Clippers star put up 15.5 points and 4.7 rebounds while shooting a woeful 35.2 percent from the field and 24.3 percent from beyond the arc.

It was sad for Pistons fans to watch Griffin this season since he was a superstar in 2018-19. Griffin appeared in 75 games for the Pistons last season and averaged 24.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game, making the All-Star team and All-NBA third team along the way.

Detroit made the playoffs last season for the first time since 2016, but they got swept by the Milwaukee Bucks in part because Griffin only played in Games 3 and 4 due to his knee injury. Blake underwent knee surgery after the playoffs ended.

The Pistons are 19-34 on the season. They are in 10th place in the Eastern Conference standings. With Andre Drummond gone and Griffin sidelined, Detroit probably won't make the playoffs this season.
