Odell Beckham Jr. has ridden the emotional rollercoaster to extreme heights this month. He won his first Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams but then received news that he tore his ACL in the big game.

Now, Beckham's mood is on the upswing following the birth of his first child, Zydn. He and his girlfriend Lauren Wood welcomed Zydn to the world last Thursday. The Rams wide receiver announced the birth on Instagram, saying that his first baby is the “biggest blessing I’ve ever had in my life”. He added that he had undergone successful surgery on his knee yesterday.

Beckham joins Van Jefferson as the other Rams wide receiver to welcome a baby following LA's victory in Super Bowl 56.

In addition to becoming a father, Beckham will have a huge offseason ahead of him. As he enters free agency on a recovering ACL at the age of 29, he will look to remain in Los Angeles or search for a new home. The three-time Pro Bowler still has plenty to offer but may miss the entire season as he recovers from another injury.

Although several teams will be in need of a wideout, Beckham's injury will hamper his value. Still, learning to become a parent and watching Zydn grow will be the best use of his time away from the game.

While Beckham embarks on what could be a long offseason, he'll have a new companion by his side.
