Toronto Raptors big man Marc Gasol says he would add the athleticism of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James to his game if he could borrow one skill from any player in the NBA.

James, who is arguably the most athletic player in league history, is still a force of nature despite being 34 years old. And Gasol admits LeBron is a very unique player.

Via Eric Koreen of The Athletic:

EK: If you could add one skill from any player in the league and add it to your game, what would it be?

Gasol: Athleticism.

EK: Whose?

Gasol: Whose? That’s a good question. (Pauses,) Shit, why not go with … I don’t know, should I pick a big man?

EK: It’s your call. The question is as open-ended as you’d like it to be.

Gasol: I’ll go with LeBron (James’) athleticism. That’s what I’ll go with. I think he’s 35.

EK: Turning 35.

Gasol: Turning 35. Seventeen seasons, and he’s still in that form. Credit to him, because he puts a lot of time in. He’s a very unique player.

As we all know, Marc Gasol isn't athletic at all. However, he has still carved out a brilliant career in the NBA.

Gasol is a three-time All-Star and won the 2013 Defensive Player of the Year award. The Raptors center pretty much locked up a spot for the NBA Hall of Fame after winning the championship last season.

Now 34, Gasol has career averages of 15.0 points, 7.7 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 795 games with the Memphis Grizzlies and Raptors.
